Glossary
Odds - The home team's betting line. The oddsmaker's point spread or moneyline for that team. In case of neutral field or court, the betting line for the second team listed.
O/U - Each team's RECENT average margin of victory against the oddsmaker's over/under (O/U) total adjusted by its strength of schedule. This metric is more descriptive than a predictive one. A positive number means a team is trending OVER the total and a negative number is a trend of UNDER.
ATS% - Each team's RECENT probability to cover the point spread adjusted by strength of schedule to get its "True ATS Win%". Made by Bayesian-based win probabilities.
ML% - Each team's RECENT probability to cover the moneyline adjusted by strength of schedule to get its "True ML Win%". Made by Bayesian-based win probabilities.
V.I.G. - The Volatility Index Grade (V.I.G.) measures a team's past performance and consistency compared to its league. The V.I.G. is made from several proprietary metrics. Like school grades, C is an average grade.
